Modern, Garden-Style Florist

We are a full-service Pittsburgh florist offering garden-style bouquets and floral arrangements for pickup or delivery within five miles of Oakmont including Fox Chapel, the East End, Plum, Penn Hills and more. What makes us different? We use locally grown flowers whenever possible. We grow many of our flowers in-season and also source from our network of amazing local flower farmers. And we typically do not use traditional flowers like carnations, lilies, and baby's breath. Our flowers are fresh, modern, and local. We also are always available for custom requests if you do not see what you are looking for in our selections.

Plant Studio

  • Houseplants

    Visit the studio to shop our huge selection of houseplants! We stock hundreds of plants from small two inch ferns to large floor plants. And if you don't see what you're looking for in the studio, we are happy to order it for you! We replenish our plants weekly to ensure the best and most unique selections.

  • Succulents & Cacti

    We stock a large selection of succulents and cacti as well as a number of different bowls and containers. You are always welcome to assemble a succulent garden or terrarium at our workshop counter, which is fully stocked with all of the soil, gravel, pebbles, moss, and tools needed.

  • Air Plants

    Our air plant bar has proven to be fun for all ages! We stock dozens of air plants in all shapes, sizes, textures and colors, along with a large selection of displays, from cork to wood to ceramics to glass terrariums.

Workshops & Events

We built our studio around our workshop table and workshops are at the center of our mission. We believe that flowers, plants, and gardening make people happy, and we want to share that happiness with our community. Our workshop topics include flower arranging, succulent gardens, terrariums, container gardening, wreath-making, seed starting, soil health, and our personal favorite - dahlias. Funeral/Sympathy Flowers & Plants

We offer sympathy and funeral flower and plant delivery to funeral homes in Oakmont, Verona, Fox Chapel, O'Hara, Indianola, Blawnox, Dorseyville, Aspinwall, Rural Ridge, Highland Park, East Liberty, Shadyside, Springdale, Harwick, Harmar, Cheswick, Plum, Penn Hills, Monroeville, Murrysville, New Kensington, Arnold and Lower Burrell. In addition to the selections on our website, we also have dozens of houseplants available at the studio for delivery. Give us a call during our business hours and we will be happy to accommodate any custom funeral/sympathy flower and plant requests.

Event Flowers & Flower Bars

We are your one-stop shop for event flowers, from corporate meetings to baby/bridal showers to celebrations like birthdays, anniversaries, and retirements! We offer custom centerpieces and arrangements styled to fit your event theme, and we also offer our Flower Bar service, which includes a generous selection of our garden-inspired blooms and all of the instructions and tools your guests need to make and take home beautiful bouquets or arrangements. Roots to Petals Studio & Shop is located in the old Oakmont Bakery building at 527 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont, PA 15139.

We are open for floral deliveries 7 days per week throughout Oakmont, Verona, Plum, Penn Hills, New Kensington, Fox Chapel, Aspinwall, Harmar, Cheswick, Springdale, and the East End.
